Chardonnay 2024
Golden in colour, the nose shoes honey and stone fruit aromatics leading into a rich palette with citrus and stone fruit flavours. The palate is long and bright with balanced acidity. The wine is drinking beautifully now bit will reward cellaring.
The grapes were grown on a step north faced thyme covered slop with schist soil. It is situated in the Earnscleugh sub-region of Alexandra which enjoys a true continental climate with temperature variations and a moderate river shore microclimate. Matt Connell, multiple trophy winner has produced a wine that carries his signature style and finesse.
